Maternity
Every pregnancy is a story worth celebrating.
Whether you're expecting your first baby or your third, this chapter holds a special kind of magic. Maternity sessions are about embracing the beauty of this season — capturing the love, the anticipation and the quiet moments before everything changes.
At Michael O'Keefe Photography, I offer in-studio maternity sessions right here in Old Beach, with full access to my client wardrobe — a beautiful collection of dresses designed specifically for maternity photography. Sessions include your partner and children and run for about 45 minutes.
I recommend capturing your session between 33–35 weeks, when your bump is at its best and you're still comfortable. Because sessions book out quickly, it's best to secure your spot around the 20-week mark, or as soon as you feel ready.
Session Booking Fee — $100
Your booking fee secures your session and is credited towards your newborn collection when booking both sessions together.
After your session, we'll sit down and view your images while they're fresh — choosing the ones that mean the most to you.

Newborns and babies
Welcoming a newborn into your family is one of life’s most precious moments, and my aim is to make capturing this chapter a calm and memorable experience for you. During your session, you can simply sit back and relax while I create beautiful, timeless images of your little one. In just a few short weeks, your baby will no longer be this tiny, which makes preserving these early days so important.
My studio is fully equipped with everything needed for your session—from newborn outfits to headbands and beanies, and wraps- all you need to bring is yourselves and wear what you would like to be photographed in. I’ll take care of the rest.
Newborns are best photographed within the first 14 days of life, while they are still sleepy and curly. To ensure availability, it’s recommended to book your newborn session by securing your due date, then contact me within 48 hours of your baby’s arrival to confirm.
The session booking fee is $100, and if you’ve booked a maternity session, this fee is waived. Collections begin at $790, with flexible payment options and plans available to make the process as stress-free as possible.
Family, Children and Couples
As your children grow and your family evolves, capturing those moments together becomes even more meaningful. Family sessions are all about connection, laughter, and creating memories you’ll treasure for years to come.
Most of my family photography takes place outdoors, on location, where we can enjoy some fun family time together. This could be somewhere special to you, or one of my favourite go-to spots—many of which are along the stunning waterfront here in Old Beach. Outdoor sessions are relaxed, natural, and perfect for larger families, while my studio is always available for smaller, more intimate family portraits.
For returning clients, I also offer “Then and Now” sessions—a beautiful way to see how your family has grown and changed over the years.

From the intricate details of your gown and flowers to the atmosphere of your reception, I work with care and dedication to ensure nothing is missed. I especially love creating stunning wall art and albums that bring your story to life in your home, a tangible reminder of your day that only grows more meaningful with time.
Every couple has their own vision for their wedding day, and I’ll work closely with you to tailor a package that fits your needs perfectly. My approach is designed to make you feel comfortable in front of the camera while delivering timeless, heartfelt photographs you’ll treasure forever.
All images are colour corrected and carefully processed, with both colour and black & white options available. Every enlargement and album image is individually edited and enhanced to perfection. Much of the artistry of wedding photography happens after the day itself—with professional editing, retouching, and album design—using only the highest quality materials to ensure your memories last a lifetime.
