Welcome to the World, Baby Tahlia


Nineteen days new and such a beautiful morning in the studio — Tahlia, it was so lovely having you and your wonderful family in today.


Tahlia came in with mum Katelyn, dad David and big brother Riley and big sister Hannah and from the start Tahlia let us know she was going to do things her way — and honestly we love that about her! After a few feeds, we made the call to start with the family photos while she was wide awake, and it was absolutely the right decision. Those family photos with Riley and Hannah are going to be so special, and having everyone together at the start of the session was just beautiful.


All of that activity did exactly what we hoped, and Tahlia eventually drifted off to sleep. We moved quickly through some gorgeous colours and props while she rested and captured some stunning images. When she woke again, we simply kept going, making the most of her awake time and capturing some beautiful alert photos that are full of expression and personality.


Every session tells its own story and Tahlia's is a perfect one. Katelyn and David, thank you so much for your patience and flexibility today — it made all the difference and the collection you have coming your way is just wonderful. Riley and Hannah, you were absolute stars. 🤍
