Ruby's Newborn Session

 

 

Today I had the absolute joy of welcoming baby Ruby into the studio for her newborn photography session in Hobart. At just 13 days old, Ruby arrived with her proud parents, Brooke and Thomas, ready to capture those precious first memories that only happen once.

Ruby was simply amazing throughout her session—calm, relaxed, and only needing a little top-up feed mid-session before settling back into those sweet newborn poses we all love. This allowed us to create a beautiful variety of portraits, from delicate posed newborn photos to natural and heartwarming family photography with Brooke and Thomas holding their baby girl.

There is something so special about photographing newborns within the first two weeks of life. Babies at this age are still sleepy and curly, making it the perfect time for those classic Hobart newborn portraits. Ruby was a dream to photograph, and the love and connection between her and her parents shone through in every image.
