Baby Iyla – 13 Days Old | Newborn Photography Session


This morning I had the absolute pleasure of welcoming beautiful baby Iyla into the studio for her newborn photography session, along with her mum, Katlyne. At just 13 days old, Iyla was the tiniest little sweetheart—weighing just over 4 pounds1


From the moment she arrived, Iyla was an absolute dream. She slept peacefully through her entire session, allowing us to capture a gorgeous variety of soft, timeless newborn images. Just a small quick feed mid-session, settling straight back into it. Her delicate features and tiny details were simply perfect, and she settled so beautifully into every pose.


We also captured some very special moments with Iyla and her mum. Watching Katlyne with her newborn was incredibly heartwarming—those quiet cuddles and loving connections are what make newborn sessions so meaningful.


Iyla’s session was calm, relaxed, and filled with so much love. These early days go by far too quickly, and it’s always an honour to preserve such precious memories for families to look back on for years to come.
