Iyla is Six Months Old!
Half a year already — where has the time gone! Iyla, it was so wonderful having you back in the studio today.
Iyla came in with mum Katlyne and nan Naomi, and it was such a lovely reunion. We had the pleasure of capturing Iyla's newborn session earlier this year and seeing her come back through the door at six months old was just incredible. She has grown and changed so much, and yet she is every bit as beautiful as the day she first came in.
At six months old, Iyla was bright, curious, and so much fun to work with. We worked through a gorgeous range of backgrounds and poses, and she absolutely loved it. Six-month sessions have such a different energy to newborn sessions — babies are so interactive and full of personality at this age, and Iyla had plenty of both.
Katlyne and Naomi, thank you so much for coming back in today. It was such a pleasure spending the morning with you all, and watching Iyla grow through her first year is just such a special thing. Iyla, you are absolutely gorgeous and so very loved. 🤍
